Locking the player and world direction
The player experience, visual direction, and technical foundation came together, including a late move toward a fully rendered world.
This was the day the written design met the intended experience on screen. Work on the main player journeys clarified how Sovereign should feel to operate, while visual exploration prompted a stronger commitment to presenting the world as a continuous rendered place.
What changed
- The principal player journeys reached a stable, reviewable form.
- Visual experiments changed how the world should be presented.
- Technical research narrowed the foundation for implementation.

With the direction set, the project was ready to move beyond documents and begin proving that the world could be built, rendered, and navigated convincingly.
