Prototyping movement and encounters
Focused prototypes tested how units move and meet on the globe while the visual and design work prepared for a second integrated pass.
Sovereign's design was tested against motion and contact on a globe. Focused prototypes explored how units occupy space and encounter one another, while visual-development work reached checkpoints that could feed back into the next integrated design pass.
What changed
- Movement and encounter concepts were tested in working prototypes.
- Water and unit-art investigations reached useful review points.
- The next design pass was organized around evidence rather than assumptions.
Next
The project would now use those findings to refine settlements, districts, logistics, and the visual patterns that make a large simulated world understandable.
